За сучасною класифікацією (APG III 2009, APG IV 2016, POWO 2023) порядок Dipsacales представлений двома родинами: Caprifoliaceae (incl. Dipsacaceae, Linnaeaceae, Valerianaceae) і Viburnaceae (incl. Adoxaceae, Sambucaceae). У флорі України родина Caprifoliaceae представлена 14 родами (Cephalaria, Diervilla, Dipsacus, Knautia, Linnaea, Lomelosia, Lonicera, Pterocephalus, Scabiosa, Succisa, Succisella, Symphoricarpos, Valeriana (incl. Centranthus, Valerianella), Weigela); родина Viburnaceae уключає три роди (Adoxa, Sambucus, Viburnum). Самостійним родом, виділеним з Scabiosa є рід Lomelosia (у флорі України три види). До роду Valeriana уключені види Centranthus, які зараз розглядаються у його складі (у флорі України – два види), а також види Varianella (16 видів). Деякі види є новими або раніше не наводились у відповідних зведеннях, зазнали змін таксономічного рангу (зведені до підвидів) чи переведені в синоніми. В анотований список уключено також широко культивовані види, які дичавіють, а також і ті, що не виходять за межі культури (в примітках). Порядок Myrtales уключає три родини: Lythraceae s.l., Onagraceae та Myrtaceae, які у флорі України є відносно невеликими за чисельністю родів та видів. Родина Lythraceae (incl. Punicaceae, Trapaceae) представлена п’ятьма родами і 15 видами (аборигенними та інтродукованими), найчисельнішим з яких є рід Lythrum. До Lythrum s. l. уключені також роди Middendorfia (M. borysthenica = Lythrum borysthenica) і Peplis (P. alternifolia = Lythrum volgense, P. portula ≡ Lythrum portula), які раніше у вітчизняних флористичних зведеннях визнавалися як окремі таксономічні групи родового рангу. Рід Trapa, який раніше розглядався у складі монотипних родин Hydrocaryaceae чи Trapaceae, представлений одним поліморфним видом T. natans, в межах якого іноді виділяють ще 10 видів (мікровидів або локальних рас), що наводяться для України. Родина Onagraceae нараховує 5 родів та близько 50 видів (автохтонних, адвентивних та культивованих). Найчисельнішими є роди Epilobium (incl. Chamaenerion) – 21 вид та Oenothera – 14 видів. Родина Myrtaceae в Україні представлена 4 родами і 7 видами, що культивуються.
